MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday that 4,458 out of 6,770 examinees passed the February 2024 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examinations.
Rey Arcabal of the University of Mindanao-Davao City was the topnotcher with a 93.45 percent rating, followed by Bryan Balancia from the St. Louis University with a 92.20 percent rating, and Leonel Socorin of the Bohol Island State University-Tagbilaran, with a 92.10 percent rating.

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines-CDO was named the top-performing school with a passing percentage of 97.33 percent, followed by Bicol University-Legaspi at 93.33 percent, and Bohol Island State University-Tagbilaran at 93.10 percent.
Concurrently, the PRC also announced that 65 out of 108 takers passed the Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination.
Aaron Sigue of the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila, led the batch with a 88.60 percent rating, with Eric Trillana from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas at 87.65 percent and Jewel Quelista from the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta- Calamba Campus with an 86.86 percent rating.
The Technological University of the Philippines-Manila was named the lone top-performing school with a 92.31 percent passing percentage.

The PRC added that the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
