MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a residential area in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City on Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
The blaze started at 11:16 a.m. and eventually reached the 2nd alarm at 11:34 a.m., it added.
By 11:55 a.m., fire authorities said flames were already under control.
As of posting time, however, the BFP has yet to declare a “fire out.”
Photos and videos on social media show thick plumes of smoke as the conflagration engulfed houses of light materials.

The BFP has yet to report on the cost of damage and casualties from the fire.
