Using ropes and life rings, the rescuers towed the boat to safety on the shoreline. The two fishermen were found in good condition.

According to the fishermen, the left outrigger of their boat was damaged by the strong waves, causing the sea vessel to submerge partially.

The PCG advised fishermen to refrain from venturing into the sea during unpredictable weather conditions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
