House to convene as committee of the whole to deliberate RBH 7
MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives will convene as a committee of the whole to discuss Resolution of Both Houses (RBH) No. 7, a resolution that seeks to amend three economic provisions of the 1987 Constitution.
During the session on Tuesday, Deputy Majority Leader and Iloilo 1st District Rep. Janette Garin moved to convene as a committee of the whole starting Wednesday, February 21, at 1:00 p.m.
This means the matter will be discussed by the House during a plenary session.

RBH No. 7 has been filed by Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales Jr., Deputy Speaker David Suarez, and Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe on Monday, which has been aligned with Senate’s RBH No. 6 — which means the House now proposes the same economic provision amendments by way of a constituent assembly, which would likely result in separate voting for the two chambers.
