2 MEN NABBED FOR MARIJUANA
TWO men were arrested after they were found carrying rolled marijuana sticks in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City.
Police said Andronico Caberte Tol, 65, and Jay Bukidnon Montecillo, 20, yielded four sticks of marijuana.
Police said the two men were seen talking to another man around 3:30 p.m. when patrolling policemen arrived.
Police said the three men ran.
Following a brief chase, police collared Tol and Montecillo and found marijuana sticks in their possessions, said Insp. Alexander Nuñez, chief of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Mandaue City police.
In barangay Subangdaku, police arrested two minors who were caught having a pot session.
Police said six hand-rolled marijuana were found in the possession of the two boys after they were arrested around 1 a.m./REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
WOMAN FALLS IN BUY-BUST
POLICE arrested a woman for alleged illegal sale of Nubain in barangay Bulacao, Cebu City.
Daisy Agustin Torres was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Cebu City police last Monday night.
Police said Torres had just sold three ampules of Nubain worth P600 to a poseur-buyer when she was arrested.
Police recovered 30 more ampules of Nubain from the woman’s possession after the arrest.
