“Aside from issuing a deportation order, the board also ordered his inclusion in our blacklist and banned him from re-entering the country for being an undesirable alien,” BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said.

The Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office in Manila said that Li has pending charges in Taiwan for violations of anti-corruption laws while he was an officer in the Taiwanese army.

Besides his present charges, the BI added that Li is an overstaying alien, and his passport was revoked by the Taiwanese government.

Li is currently at the BI’s facility in Taguig City until his deportation.
