MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct weekend reblocking and repairs on four roads in Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday.
In a traffic advisory, MMDA said that the reblocking and repairs will start at 11 p.m. on Friday, February 16, and end at 5 a.m. on Monday, February 19.
“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” the MMDA said.
The following roads will be affected by DPWH’s repairs:
- EDSA (SB), After Cabrera St. Outer Lane, Pasay City
- Taft Avenue cor. Pedro Gil St., Manila City
- Rizal Avenue (SB), From 4th Ave to 3rd Avenue, Caloocan City
- EDSA (NB), Between Tandang Sora St. to D. Arellano St. (3rd Lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
MMDA has advised motorists to take alternate routes until the said roads are “fully passable” by 5 a.m. on Monday. — Barbara Gutierrez, INQUIRER.net intern
