Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday said that she and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. “are okay,” despite the hostility between her family and the President.

‘Green’ coalition accuses SMNI, AFP of ‘Red-tagging’

A group of 37 environmental organizations filed a complaint with the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) on Monday, accusing a military unit and a media network of Red-tagging them and endangering their lives.

Students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) who were holding a rally in front of the House of Representatives on Monday were reportedly hurt after they were dispersed by the Quezon City police.

A video taken by The Catalyst, the university’s official student publication, showed police officers pushing and hitting the protesters with their shields and batons.
