Pagasa: Cloudy Tuesday with possible rain showers

pagasa weather update

MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and rain showers are expected in parts of Luzon and the Visayas on Tuesday due to the effects of the northeast monsoon or “amihan” and the shearline, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

(The effects of the northeast monsoon will prevail over a large part of Luzon, so it will cloudy with a chance of rain in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, and Quezon.)

(Due to the effect of the shear line, it will be cloudy with possible scattered rain showers in the Bicol region and Mindoro provinces.)

Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will experience fair weather with chances of isolated rain.

Cloudy skies and rain showers likewise due to the shearline are expected in Western Visayas, while rest of the Visayas and Mindanao will have generally fair weather with chances of rain due to thunderstorms.
