MANILA, Philippines — Motorists were advised to take alternative routes due to reblocking and repairs that will be carried out on some parts of Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday.
The road work, which will be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways, will start at 11 p.m. on Friday, February 9, until 5 a.m. on Monday, February 12.
Below is the list of areas that will be affected, as posted on MMDA’s Facebook account:
- Edsa southbound after Cabrera Street (Outer lane), Pasay City
- Taft Avenue corner Pedro Gil Street, Manila City
- Rizal Avenue southbound near 5th Avenue to 4th Avenue, Caloocan City
- Edsa northbound between Tandang Sora Street to D. Arellano St. (2nd lane from the sidewalk), Caloocan City
“The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, February 12,” the MMDA said.
