MANILA, Philippines — Two lucky bettors became millionaires overnight for guessing the winning numbers in the Lotto 6/42 draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday night.

The two winners will divide among themselves the P5,940,000 jackpot after betting on the 27-02-20-22-23-10 combination.

On February 1, a bettor also won in the Lotto 6/42 draw while five more won in the same lottery game in January.

The PCSO conducts the raffle for Lotto 6/42 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Meanwhile, the P47,965,318.80 jackpot for the Super Lotto 6/49 is still up for grabs as of Friday, February 9, as nobody was able to guess the winning numbers 45-12-07-29-30-38 during Thursday night’s raffle.

Super Lotto 6/49 is a six out of 49 nationwide lottery game that is raffled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, the PCSO noted.

In December 2023, the PCSO launched its one year test run of E-Lotto digital betting platform that will allow Filipinos anywhere in the world to participate in the same daily lotto draws done in the Philippines without having to line up to place bets at physical outlets.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles said the agency expects this new mode of participating in the lotto draws to double the number of bettors in the popular numbers game from the current 2 million to about 4 million a day due to improved accessibility.

Officials also said the E-Lotto system is expected to boost PCSO’s revenues for the numbers game to P70 billion this year from P55.3 billion it made through traditional lotto games in the first 11 months of 2023.
