Manila Water wins 6 Anvils at 59th PRSP Awards

Manila Water received six (6) Silver Awards at the 59th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal

Manila Water received six (6) Silver Awards at the 59th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines. The six Manila Water public relations (PR) programs and tools were selected from almost 500 entries for having met the stringent standards of each category.

Manila Water received six (6) Silver Awards at the 59th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.

The six Manila Water public relations (PR) programs and tools were selected from almost 500 entries for having met the stringent standards of each category.

The company bagged two Silver Awards in the PR Tools for Publications:

FEATURED STORIES
  • UNWAVERING: 25 Years of Exceptional Service – 2022 Integrated Annual and Sustainability Report which highlighted its 25-year history of exceptional service and vision for the future; and
  • “UNWAVERING: 25 Years of Exceptional Service” Coffee Table Book, which showcased the history and achievements of the organization throughout the years through the images captured by photographer Scott Woodward and words written by lifestyle writer Stephanie Zubiri.

“Climate Change Campaign: Changing the Flow for our Future” snatched two Silver Awards in the PR Programs-Advocacy and PR Programs-Sustainability Communication categories.

The advocacy was launched to mobilize stakeholders by providing a sustainability roadmap, setting measurable goals, and communicating complex information in an engaging manner.

Manila Water Foundation’s Project #SAFEWASH in Schools and Light Up to WASHup also won the Silver Awards in the PR Programs-Sustainable Communications.

Project #SAFEWASH in Schools has championed the United Nations Sustainability Goals (UN SDG) 3,4,6, and 17, which aim to enhance quality education, personal hygiene, and access to clean water and sanitation.

#SAFEWASH has significantly improved access to hygiene facilities and supplies in 285 campuses in Metro Manila and Rizal.

On the other hand, Light Up to WASH Up supports UN SDGs 3,6,7, and 17, which aim to improve the quality of life of the next generation and the least fortunate.

Light Up to WASH Up is a partnership initiative between the Manila Water Foundation and One Meralco Foundation where they blended renewable energy solutions with critical water supply systems to uplift the lives of the Sitio Sapang Munti community in Bulacan to be stewards of the Ipo Watershed.

Dubbed the “Oscars of Public Relations,” PRSP’s annual Anvil Awards recognizes the country’s best PR programs, campaigns, and tools implemented by over 100 companies and organizations.
