2 dead, 10 injured in firecracker factory blast in Cabuyao, Laguna

LUCENA CITY – Two persons were killed while 10 others were injured after a firecracker factory exploded and caught fire in Cabuyao City, Laguna on Thursday afternoon.
In a spot report, the Police Region 4A said the fatalities were found dead in the vicinity of Diamond Fireworks Inc. in Barangay (village) Bigaa around 3:30 p.m. The report did not provide further information on the two victims.

After the explosion, fire broke out. Firefighters extinguished the blaze around 5:47 p.m.
