8-year-old child with autism needs help for therapy

THE MOTHER of a child who has been diagnosed with autism-ADHD is asking for help from Inquirer readers to help her son live a normal life.

Because of his condition, 8-year-old Godwin Jefferson Lising has to attend a special school. He also needs to undergo speech therapy regularly at Philippine Children’s Medical Center.

“My heart bleeds every time I ask him what happened in school and he can hardly express himself. He doesn’t remember anything, either,” his mother, Josephine, said.

She added that she and her son rely on her sister for their needs since she does not have a job. Her sister’s income, however, cannot sustain Godwin’s special needs.

Those who want to help out Josephine and her son can contact her at 9295992 or deposit their donations in the boy’s BDO bank account with account number 251070727.
