MANILA, Philippines — The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) on Tuesday advised the public to beware of certain social media pages offering to facilitate child adoption processes.

“Ang NACC ay nananawagan sa publiko upang i-report ang mga Facebook pages at groups na nagsasagawa ng illegal adoption services,” it said in its advisory.

(NACC is urging the public to report Facebook pages and groups that offer facilitation and  illegal adoption services.)

(Notify our agency, or report through Facebook the pages or groups involved in such illegal activities.)

It also said that those who want to adopt children can approach it or the Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO) to undergo the legal adoption process.

(Get in touch with our agency, NACC and RACCO for information about legal adoption and foster care.)
