Chinese national beats windshield with flashlight

A Chinese national was accused of breaking the car’s windshield of a fellow Chinese in  Mandaue City on  Sunday.

Ying Jiang of Sze Chuan, China, who temporarily resides in  Catarman, Liloan, reported to police that  Zhang Liu Bin  who was  on board a sedan overtook his vehicle and blocked his way along Plaridel Street in barangay  Umapad.

Based on initial police investigation, Bin of barangay Taboc was with four  other unidentified Chinese men when he disembarked and walked toward the victim’s sports utility vehicle.

Police said the victim tried to turn his sports utility vehicle away from the men when he saw  one of them had a gun but the suspect beat his windshield with a flashlight.

Fearing for his life, the victim  sped away towards the police station.

Police said a personal grudge is the motive of the crime.
