Pagasa: Cloudy Tuesday with possible isolated rain showers
MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” will bring cloudy skies and rain to parts of Luzon on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Maulap ang kalangitan na may mga pag-ulan na kadalasan po mahina hanggang sa katamtamang sa Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Aurora at Quezon Province,” said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.
(Cloudy skies and rain showers are expected in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Aurora, and Quezon province.)
“Samantala sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon, kabilang ang Metro Manila ay magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon bukas na may bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan at isolated na mahihinang pagulan,” he added.
(The rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila will have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated light rains.)
Article continues after this advertisementFair weather will likewise prevail over Visayas and Mindanao, but with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and chances of rain due to thunderstorms.

A gale warning due to the effects of the “amihan” was raised over the waters of Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and La Union.
Waves from 2.8 to 5 meters high are expected.
