MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of Marikina City and Quezon City are scheduled for temporary water interruptions from January 22 to 25, the Manila Water Company said on Saturday.
The supply disconnection will give way to some maintenance works that will be carried out in the affected areas, the firm said in an advisory posted on its website.

Below is the list of maintenance works along with the specific date, time, and location where the water supply will be halted:
Marikina City
January 22, 9 p.m. to January 23, 6 a.m.
- Parts of Barangay Jesus Dela Pena
- Parts of Barangay Tanong
- Parts of Barangay Barangka
Reason: Leak Repair Along A. Bonifacio Ave, Tañong
Quezon City
January 22, 10 p.m. to January 23, 4 a.m.
- Parts of Barangay Tandang Sora
- Reason: Line Maintenance at Napocor Subdivision
January 23, 10 p.m. to January 24, 4 a.m.
- Parts of Barangay Damayang Lagi
- Reason: Line Maintenance at 10th Street Corner Gilmore Avenue
January 24, 10 p.m. to January 25, 4 a.m.
- Parts of Barangay Socorro
- Reason: Line Maintenance at Liberty Corner 15th Avenue
Manila Water advised residents that will be affected to store enough water for their needs.
It also added that once the water connection is back, they should also let the water flow out of their taps until it becomes clear.
