Corona trial resumes

MANILA, Philippines. — After a month-long break, the Senate, acting as an impeachment court, on Monday resumed the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Sixteen senators, sitting as judges, were present when the proceeding began a little past 2:00 p.m.
