DSWD debunks website with supposed 4Ps masterlist

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Wednesday distanced itself a website that claimed to have the master list of beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and scheduled payouts.
According to the DSWD, the website https://www.prc-board.com/p/4ps-payout-schedule-january-2024-master.html is not an official website of the department.
The DSWD added that it does not release its master list of 4Ps beneficiaries as in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
“Ito ay nagbibigay ng maling impormasyon patungkol sa programang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Para sa impormasyon ng lahat, hindi naglalabas ng ‘masterlist’ ang ahensya dahil ito ay lumalabag sa Data Privacy Act of 2012,” the DSWD said.
(It gives wrong information about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). For everyone’s information, the agency does not release a masterlist because it is a violation of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.)
It added that the DSWD does not post payout schedules for the programs as the grants are automatically transferred to the cash cards of the beneficiaries.
“Maliban pa rito, walang schedule ng payout na pinopost ang 4Ps sapagkat ang grants ay awtomatikong pumapasok sa cash card ng ating mga benepisyaryo,” it continued.
(Aside from this, no payout schedule of 4Ps are being posted as the grants are automatically wired to the cash cards of the beneficiaries.)
The agency also reminded the public to only refer to its official channels in its social media accounts for verified information.
