MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested a Vietnamese man on Wednesday morning for allegedly causing public alarm and yielding suspected illegal drugs in Pasay City.

In a report, the Southern Police District (SPD) identified the man as alias “Bin.” Pasay City police officers seized him after responding to a complaint that the man was causing a commotion in front of a shopping center on Taft Avenue Extension in Barangay 79, Zone 10, around 3:30 a.m.

During an inspection, however, authorities said they discovered suspected crystal meth or “shabu” from the Vietnamese. Police said the recovered drug weighs 0.7 grams and has a street value of P4,760.
