1 dead as van collides with oil tanker in Bataan

ABUCAY, Bataan — A man was killed early Monday after the van he was driving figured in a head-on collision with an oil tanker along the Roman Highway in this town.

The driver, whose identity has yet to be released by the investigators, was trapped in the severely damaged front section of the van.

It was not immediately known how the van occupied the other lane.

Volunteers from the Metro Bataan Development Authority and the municipal risk reduction and management office had to use special cutting tools to remove the victim’s body from the wreckage. INQ
