Dunkin, Kakui win in Eco Trail

CEBU’S MERLITA Arias-Dunkin and Kenyan Francis Kakui dominated yesterday’s Elite category 15-kilometer race of the Columbia Eco Trail Run leg 6 in Carmen town, northern Cebu.

Dunkin clocked two hours and 56 minutes to top the women’s race.

Kakui topped the men’s elite division with a time of two hours, 19 minutes and 38 seconds.

Hannah Go, meanwhile, lorded the female executive 7-kilometer race with a time of 48 minutes and 13 seconds. Paul Morris topped the men’s division with a time of 33 minutes and 49 seconds.

A total of 560 trail runners joined Columbia’s sixth installment of its trail run. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
