Did you know: Metro Manila road accidents

Of the total 77,110 Metro Manila road accidents last year, 7,656 accidents occurred in December 2011, the highest for the year, according to recent Metropolitan Manila Development Authority statistics. These resulted in 6,029 incidents of damage to property, 1,581 nonfatal injuries and 46 fatalities.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
