LUCENA CITY — A wanted felon was wounded in an alleged shootout on Tuesday, Jan. 9, with police in General Trias City in Cavite province.

The law enforcers retaliated and hit the gunman. Police subsequently arrested John.

The wounded suspect, who is wanted for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, was brought to Gen. Trias Medicare Hospital for treatment.

The police recovered Raymart’s firearm with four bullets.

During routine frisking, John yielded four plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth). The volume and street value of the confiscated illegal drugs were not specified in the report.
