Armed man robbed 2 persons and shot dead one of the victims in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – A still unidentified robber shot and killed one of his victims after snatching their cell phones in Candelaria, Quezon on Saturday, December 30.

In a report on Sunday, December 31, Region 4A police said the victims, identified as “Edwin” and “Marites” parked their motorcycle on the side of a bypass in Barangay Mangilag Sur around 2:15 p.m.

An armed man appeared and pointed his gun at the two persons.

Then, the assailant grabbed their mobile phones.

Without any provocation, the criminal shot the male victim twice on his head, killing him on the spot.

The gunman fled after committing the crime.

Police are investigating the case.
