FPJ Panday Bayanihan wins back to back philanthropy awards

Brian Poe-Llamanzares holds his Global Game Changers award from India

MANILA, Philippines – A publication based in India just named Brian Poe-Llamanzares as one of its “Global Game Changers” this 2023 for his charitable work through the FPJ Panday Bayanihan Foundation.

This comes right after he won the excellence award for philanthropy at the Aliw Awards earlier this month.

The foundation has been actively participating in disaster relief operations, nation building, and community development programs for over a decade now.

Over the years FPJ Panday Bayanihan foundation has helped over 20,000 families, distributed roughly 43,000 relief packs, and during the pandemic distributed more than 35,000 personal protective equipment.

Brian Poe-Llamanzares shares the Aliw Excellence Award with his mother, Senator Grace Poe.

Poe-Llamanzares says that these awards are greatly appreciated and that it affirms that they are on the right track.

“We’re proud to continue serving the people. It’s nice to know that people appreciate the work that we do. Our friends, family, volunteers, supporters, and donors have been a big part of the success of our NGO,” he said.

Having secured these awards, Poe-Llamanzares is confident that the organization will continue to grow.

He’s happy to note that there are volunteers and supporters nationwide.

A recent example would be their relief efforts in Northern Samar, where his  volunteer network donated relief packs for hundreds of families.

Moreover, one of their community partners started an initiative to provide fresh drinking water which FPJ Panday Bayanihan supported.

It is Brian’s hope that the organization will continue to support communities for years to come,

“FPJ Panday Bayanihan was built to preserve my grandfather’s legacy of giving to people who are in need. I look forward to another decade of charitable acts of goodwill. Wherever there are people in need, we will be there.”
