MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila’s weekly COVID-19 positivity rate has slightly increased, Octa Research fellow Dr. Guido David said on Thursday.

In a tweet, David said the region’s positivity rate is now at 24.8 percent.

“National Capital Region’s weekly COVID-19 positivity rate went up slightly from 22 percent on Dec 19 to 24.8 on Dec 26,” said David.

The positivity rate pertains to the number of individuals who test positive for Covid-19 out of all those who have been examined for the disease.
