DAGUPAN CITY — Four residents in this city were injured when a pile of firecrackers exploded around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Christmas Day, in Barangay Malued.
Police said one of the victims lit a cigarette during a drinking spree near the room of the unfinished house where the firecrackers were stored.
The victims were brought to the Region I Medical Center Annex in this city for treatment.
They were identified as Rogelio Zamora Solomon, 48; Raymundo Seen Lazaro, 38; Jaquiline Tababan Velasco, 49; and Roan Calugay Velasco, 44.
The firecrackers were supposed to be used during the New Year’s Eve by the Solomon family. INQ
