RAJAH Renoel Pael will fight Roger Echavez for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) flyweight crown on May 10 in the 10-round main event in Lazi, Siquijor.
Pael (7W-0L-1D, 3 KOs) is the Buhay Boksingero 2011 flyweight division winner. Last April 22, he stopped Joseph Alteza in one round at the Mactan Shrine.
Echavez (7W-7L-1D, 4 KOs), on the other hand, lost in his attempt last year to win the GAB version of the Philippine minimumweight title to Merlito Sabillo by 7th round TKO.
Set to appear on the undercards are Lobert Bayo vs. Roldan Malinao (8 rounds), Alvin Aresgado vs. Hietler Marinon (4 rounds) and Bryan Samson vs. Crispin Salvador (4 rounds).
