THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose Recoletos-manned Cebu Football Association (CFA) team hopes to solidify its hold of third place as it faces the Iloilo Football Association (IFA) in Iloilo today.
CFA totes seven points after winning its third home match against the Leyte Football Association (LFA) last weekend at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Mandaue City.
IFA has nine points after winning three of its four matches for second place.
Should the CFA win, it will trade places with the IFA.
The last time both teams played against each other, IFA won, 1-0.
CFA hopes to hang on to third place since only the top three teams will advance to the national finals. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
