MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) Regional Fish Ports reported logging the highest monthly fish unloading for the year in November with 49,718.434 metric tons (MT).

According to the PFDA, almost half of the total came from the General Santos Fish Port Complex, which has contributed 24,377.649 MT of fish.

The Zamboanga Fish Port Complex and Davao Fish Port Complex, meanwhile, posted increases in their monthly unloading at 1,157.45 MT and 440.39 MT, respectively, in November.

Slight declines in the fish unloading, however, were recorded in the Iloilo Fish Port Complex and Lucena Fish Port Complex due to weather disturbances, the PFDA said Friday. The Iloilo Fish Port contributed 1,652.7 MT of fish while the Lucena Fish Port contributed 1,458.32 MT of fish last month.

Meanwhile, the Navotas Fish Port Complex, Bulan Fish Port Complex, and Sual Fish Port logged fish unloading of 19,404.97 MT, 1,144.4 MT, and 82.57 MT of fish, respectively, the PFDA noted.
