LIST: Water service interruptions in Metro Manila from Dec 21-24

MANILA, Philippines — Due to some maintenance activities, customers of the Manila Water Company, Inc. and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in some areas will experience water service interruptions this Thursday and in the coming days.

In an advisory on Wednesday, Manila Water said its customers will be affected by the maintenance activities in the following areas:

Dec. 21, 10:00 p.m. to Dec. 22, 4 a.m.

  • Parts of barangays Mariana, Kristong Hari, and Kalusugan in Quezon City (Due to a line meter replacement)
  • Namayan, Mandaluyong City (Due to a leak repair)

Dec. 22, 10:00 p.m. to Dec. 23, 4 a.m.

  • Parts of barangay Damayang Lagi, Quezon City (Due to a line meter replacement)

Dec. 22, 10:00 p.m. to Dec. 23, 6 a.m.

  • Parts of barangay San Isidro, Cainta Rizal (Due to an interconnection activity)

Meanwhile, Maynilad said on Thursday that a valve replacement along the Regalado Avenue corner in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, will be done from 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 27 to 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 28.

Maynilad said the following barangays will have water service interruptions for the said duration:

Quezon City

  • Barangays Bagbag, Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Commonwealth, Greater Fairview, Gulod, Holy Spirit, North Fairview, Payatas, San Bartolome, Sauyo, Sta. Lucia, Sta. Monica, and Talipapa

Valenzuela City

  • Hobart Subdivision in barangay Ugong

In an earlier advisory, Maynilad also said their customers in the following barangays will be affected by leak detection activities:

Dec. 21, 10 p.m. to Dec. 22, 6 a.m.

  • Mariblo, Quezon City

Dec. 23, 10 p.m. to Dec. 24, 6 a.m.

  • Bungad, Quezon City

The companies advised the affected residents to store enough water during the service disruptions.
