BI set to deport two foreign nationals tagged as sexual offenders

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is set to deport two foreign nationals involved in sexual offenses, it said on Tuesday.

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is set to deport two foreigners involved in sexual offenses in their countries, the agency said on Tuesday.

One of the nationals is Theddy Douglas Tissier, a 42-year-old French who was arrested on December 12, in Makati City.

According to the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), Tissier is currently wanted for prosecution in France for crimes against minors.

Currently, Tissier is detained inside the BI Warden Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig.

Meanwhile, Go Taiyoung, a 44-year-old Korean, was arrested on December 12 in Parañaque City.

Go was listed in the Interpol Red Notice for having a criminal case in South Korea, as he was involved in the forcing of a female to commit an indecent act in 2019. In 2021, the BI put out a summary deportation order against him.
