SPD nabs 3 men in Taguig for possession of P1.7-M shabu
MANILA, Philippines — Authorities arrested three men for possession of P1.7-million worth of suspected crystal meth, locally known as shabu, in Taguig City, police said on Sunday.
In a report, the Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as Mark Christian Saldo, 25, Woody Dela Cruz, 48, and Charlie Corpuz, 38 – all arrested in Taguig last December 14.

Meanwhile, the SPD said its operatives are still tracking down another suspect, identified by his alias “Leo Mar,” who remains at large.

Article continues after this advertisementThe narcotics confiscated from the three weighed more or less 250 grams, which amounts to P1.7 million.
Both the seized items and the arrested individuals were brought to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for custody.
Police said the suspects will face complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
