MANILA, Philippines — Two people died as fire engulfed a truck and a bus parked at a transport terminal in Marikina City on Sunday morning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the blaze that started at 9:14 a.m. at the BFCT Terminal in Barangay Calumpang also injured five other people. It added that the fire quickly progressed to the first alarm two minutes after it began.

Authorities said they have yet to establish the identities of the deceased individuals.
The fire was declared under control at 9:41 a.m. and extinguished at 9:44 a.m., the BFP said.
