MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced on Tuesday that a certain website that listed the requirements for its Assistance to individuals in crisis situations (AICS) program is fake.

The DSWD said that the website https://dswdassistance.com/aics-dswd-financial-assistance-dswd-aics-requirements is fake and unaffiliated with the department.

Aside from the AICS program, the website also lists other alleged programs of the DSWD, including educational assistance and scholarships.

(The website is using the identity of the DSWD with no permission and is deceiving the public into believing that this is an official platform of the agency.)

The department also told people to analyze content online and verify those that are not credible or reliable.

(Analyze and verify the contents that you read. Do not fall for content that is not from credible and reliable sources.)
