Pardo market’s 2nd floor opens

/ 07:14 AM May 04, 2012

THE second floor of the Pardo Public Market was opened to dry goods vendors yesterday with the completion of phase 1 of the P8-milliom market renovation project.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama told vendors the market “will be used as a market and not as a school.”

Before this, former mayor Tomas Osmeña had allowed Pardo Night High School students to hold classes at the second and third floors of the market building because of a lack of classrooms.
