4 pro fights set in San Miguel, Bohol May 7

BOXING fans in San Miguel, Bohol will be treated to an explosive fight card featuring four professional bouts this Monday (May 7) at the San Miguel Cultural Center.

Headlining the event will be the eight-round showdown between Anthony Galigao of Candijay, Bohol vs. Ryan Tampus of Batol, Leyte. Both boxers will try to bounce back from recent losses. Galigao has lost to Cebu-based boxers Renoel Pael and Albert Pagara while Tampus lost in Thailand last year to Rusalee Samor in his attempt to win the IBF Pan Pacific flyweight title.

Set to appear in the undercards are Richard Rosales vs. Marwin Cristota (6 rounds), Romy Auguis vs. Gary Rojo (4 rounds) and Nelson Tiampay vs. Enrico Conjurado (4 rounds).

The fight card is promoted by Edgar Ricafort. Action starts at 7 p.m. /Correspoindent Rene Bonsubre Jr.
