A 23-year-old nursing graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo shared how her constant “manifestations” online turned into reality as she passed the 2023 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE).

On Facebook, Jastine Mae Cascante dedicated her achievement of becoming a registered nurse to her ever-supportive loved ones even as she recounted her dream journey toward her goal, via her manifestation posts.

Cascante told the Inquirer that she thought passing the board exam was “unexpected and unbelievable.” As a first-time board taker, she could not contain her overflowing delight over witnessing her much-awaited dream become reality.

‘Law of attraction’

Cascante considers herself a “dreamer who dreams high.” At a young age, she envisioned seeing her name among the board passers whenever newspapers published the list of successful examinees.

The “law of attraction” suggests that positive thoughts yield positive results. She continuously adhered to this principle and went on with her life with a healthy mindset despite some hardships and setbacks.

Braving her dream career path, she encountered various academic and personal obstacles that challenged her resolve. But they did not wipe out her faith, thanks to her beloved inspirations—her family and the Lord.

“Lagi kong kinakausap sarili ko na, ‘Kaya mo ‘yan, ang dami na nating pinagdaanan! Susuko ka pa ba?’ Naisip ko kasi na kapag nag-manifest ka sa isang bagay parang magnet lang ‘yan na kusang lalapit sa’yo kung para sa’yo talaga. Basta ibigay mo na ang best mo, at si Lord na ang bahala sa iba,” Cascante said.

(I always told myself, ‘You can do it; we’ve been through a lot! Are you still going to give up?’ Manifesting something is like a magnet that will automatically come to you if it’s really for you. Give it your best, and the Lord will take care of the rest.)

As an avid manifester and dreamer, Cascante also manifests all the best for aspiring board examinees, with a message to give their best shot and always trust God’s plans.

“Pinapakinggan Niya tayo, matuto lang tayong maghintay sa tamang plano para sa inyo. Hindi madali, pero walang mangyayari kung hindi mo susubukan. Maging positive lang palagi. Take lang nang take hangga’t may pagkakataon,” she expressed.

(He listens to us; let’s learn to wait for the right time for us. It’s not easy, but you will only succeed if you try. Always be positive. Keep trying as long as there is an opportunity.)

On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that 25,761 out of 32,203 examinees passed the November 2023 NLE.
