Iligan, Zambo del Sur LGUs to fetch MSU students amid security worries
PAGADIAN CITY — The local governments of Zamboanga del Sur province and Iligan City were sending transport vehicles to Marawi City to fetch their residents who are currently studying at Mindanao State University (MSU) following security jitters triggered by Sunday morning’s bombing that killed at least four Christian worshippers and injured dozens of others.
Provincial Information Officer Jesreel Himang told the Inquirer that Gov. Victor Yu has heeded calls for help by students who expressed insecurity while inside the MSU campus due to the bombing incident.
