Most road accidents in Metro Manila last year occurred in the daytime. According to the latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, 48,566 accidents or 62.98 percent of the total 77,110 road accidents in 2011 happened between 6 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. while the remaining 37.02 percent or 28,544 accidents happened from 6 p.m. to 5:55 a.m. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
