Most parts of PH will be fair on Saturday, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will have good and fair weather this Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
According to the weather bureau, the northeast monsoon continues to prevail in Northern Luzon, while the easterlies affect the rest of the Philippines.
With these weather systems, Pagasa said only Batanes, Quezon, Aurora, and Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands, were forecast to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have fair weather. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms are expected over the areas.
“Itong nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon, kasama po ang Metro Manila, ay patuloy na magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon ngayong araw—maliban na lang po sa mga isolated na pag-ulan,” weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in their morning weather forecast.
(The remaining parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will continue to have good and fair weather today—except for isolated rains.)
“Fair weather po tayo sa Visayas at Mindanao kung saan makararanas po tayo ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap and kalangitan—maliban na lang po sa mga localized thunderstorms kung saan magbibigay ito ng mga paminsan-minsang may malalakas na pag-ulan,” he added.
(We have fair weather in Visayas and Mindanao, wherein we will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies—except on localized thunderstorms that will bring occasional heavy rains.)
Meanwhile, Pagasa said that a gale warning is still raised in Batanes, Ilocos Norte, and Babuyan Islands.
The weather bureau advised the public to avoid sailing in the areas as waves up to 4.5 meters high are expected there.
