Mass of Remembrance set

/ 01:02 AM May 04, 2012

The prayer warriors of the Holy Souls (PWHS) will hold a Mass of Remembrance every second Monday of the month for victims of major calamities and wars, as well as departed family members, relatives, friends and saints whose feast days fall on that particular month.

The May 14 Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Jojo Zerrudo at 11 a.m. at the Shrine of Jesus the Divine Word, Christ the King Seminary in Quezon City. To be remembered at this Mass are those who died in the Napoleonic Wars in France from 1803-1805, heroes Andres Bonifacio and Apolinario Mabini, the “brains” of the Philippine Revolution; and victims of World War II in Europe.

The Mass of Remembrance is sponsored by the PWHS, a Catholic lay apostolate of Monfort Foundation Inc., which is committed to propagate the devotion to the holy souls in Purgatory.
