Last working day of November is National Bike-to-Work Day
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared the last working day of November every year as National Bike-to-Work Day, according to a new proclamation uploaded on the Official Gazette on Wednesday.
Proclamation No. 409 said that the measure was in line with the Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999.
According to the proclamation, the “new normal” after the COVID-19 pandemic requires the adoption of measures enabling safe, independent, and physically distant travel.
