AFTER COMING from behind to surprise the San Marino Corned Tuna-University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers, the Kia Motors-Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) look to build on that success today when they take on the defending champions Prime Asia-University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers in the 6th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. Partner’s Cup at the Cebu Coliseum.
The Green Lancers take the stage today armed with the league’s leading record at 2-0 (win-loss) but the Wildcats, who are fresh off their monumental 89-87 win over the Panthers last Tuesday—a win made more impressive by the fact that they had to come back from a 16-point second half deficit—are poised to dampen UV’s cause.
