MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rocked Davao Oriental on Thursday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the tectonic earthquake was traced west of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental and had a depth of focus of 130 kilometers, Phivolcs said.
It was measured at Instrumental Intensity I (scarcely perceptible) in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; City of Digos, Davao del Sur, and Malungon, Sarangani.
No damage or aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs added.
