SariSuki, a community selling platform and partner of Alagang Angkas: Pamilya Weekend, joined the event, offering grocery products at discounted prices. Going beyond, they also supported the spouses of the bikers in exploring supplementary income opportunities.

This collaboration is a sustained commitment throughout upcoming events, reflecting their ongoing efforts to empower and uplift the Angkas community.

George Royeca, the CEO of Angkas, emphasized the importance of supporting their bikers: “Our lodi bikers are at the core of our operations. This family day reflects our commitment to providing the help and support they deserve, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. It’s also an opportunity for us to listen and discover how we can better serve them.”

In line with their dedication to driver empowerment, Angkas partnered with Pag-IBIG to connect bikers with onsite representatives for queries and registration.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance the social safety net for bikers and their families, offering accessible and sustainable housing loan options as part of Angkas’ holistic approach to driver well-being.

Royeca stated, “Partnering with Pag-IBIG strengthens our bikers’ social safety net. We do this because we recognize their daily efforts on the streets and commitment to delivering quality service to our customers.”

Angkas biker Joseph Santillan Jr., who has dedicated seven years to Angkas, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their steadfast commitment to ensuring their well-being.

He shared, “Angkas values its bikers, offering free haircuts and dental check-ups. These are things bikers often neglect due to exhaustion when they get home from working all day. That’s why events like this are important, providing an opportunity for us to appreciate our work. Thank you, Angkas, for tirelessly supporting us bikers.”

Roda, a female biker from QC, echoed her appreciation for programs like these: “Through initiatives like this, we truly feel the genuine support of Angkas for us. Angkas prioritizes our health, even providing monthly hygiene kits for lady bikers like me.”

Danilo Gicana, a dedicated Angkas biker for four years, revealed how the platform has been instrumental in meeting his family’s daily needs: “Angkas treats us like family. Thanks to Angkas, we can provide for our families daily and send our children to school. They are the reason we can fulfill these responsibilities.”
