CAMPAIGN VERSUS LOOSE GUNS

POLICE stations in Cebu were tasked to seize at least one loose firearm a month.

The directive is part of the police’s intensified campaign against loose firearms, said Senior Supt. Louie Oppus, deputy regional director for Operations of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).

Police gave chase but to no avail. They said the drug sale happened in Salen’s house last Monday night.

Police found in Salen’s house 12 small sachets of suspected shabu; P1,000 cash and a loaded .45 pistol.
