Another ex-super cop to be extradited by DoJ in the US

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Justice (DoJ) is preparing to extradite another member of the defunct Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF), who is also one of the accused in the kidnapping and murder of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito.

Justice Secretary Leila De Lima said the said person was charged in court, and a warrant for his arrest was issued, but he was never arraigned.

“The panel of prosecutors are already preparing the needed documents for the extradition, but we cannot file it yet before the US, because we need to pinpoint his location first,” De Lima said.

Once confirmed, De Lima said they will immediately file their extradition request with the US government.
